Bluetooth Audio Module CSR8670 With AptX-LL For Metal Detector

- Dec 24, 2020-

The Bluetooth metal detector is a complete set of electronic equipment with Bluetooth function, which realizes the Bluetooth communication between the metal detector and electronic devices (such as Bluetooth smartphones, tablet computers, Bluetooth headsets, etc.), making full use of the satellite positioning module and display of the electronic equipment (The resource of the screen), the data detected and processed by the Bluetooth metal detector is sent to the electronic device terminal through Bluetooth technology. The electronic device terminal displays a rich user interface. The user can also operate and control the Bluetooth metal detection through the electronic device. The device performs a series of settings and detections, enabling two-way control between the Bluetooth metal detector and the electronic device.

If the sensor is close to a piece of metal, it can be indicated by the changing tone in the earphone or the pointer moving on the indicator. Usually, the device will give a distance indication. The closer the metal, the higher the pitch in the headset, or the higher the pitch of the needle. Therefore, in Bluetooth metal detectors, there are high requirements for sound transmission. Generally, the Bluetooth of a metal detector needs to support low-latency signal transmission. Usually, manufacturers will choose Bluetooth modules to support aptX Low Latency (aptX LL).

At present, Feasycom has a small-size Bluetooth audio module FSC-BT802 that can support such low-latency Bluetooth requirements. This module uses the CSR8670 chip and supports aptX LL. FSC-BT802 is now used by metal detector manufacturers in the United States, Britain, and Germany. And this module has FCC, CE, BQB, TELEC, and other certifications, which can meet the certification needs of customers in different markets.
